Contribute Your Data to the Tree Failure Project

We need your help and data to create a new and freely-available storm damage prediction and mapping tool!

You can assist by participating through this survey that is part of a national effort to collect tree risk and storm failure data. Working with the USDA Forest Service, International Society of Arboriculture, the Society of Municipal Arborists, and the International Tree Failure Database, our team will develop an openly available management tool to help professionals map urban trees and predict/assess their associated risk of failure. To make this tool a success, we are collecting inventory data that represents the variety of climates and environments within the United States.

We value your time and appreciate your help to complete the questions below. Regardless if you have tree data, please respond to let us know. Your response will help to gather the important data that will improve the science behind urban tree risk assessment and storm preparation/response.
